I decided to start collecting local helicopter details. By local, I mean helicopters that show up on my ADS-B feeder and are not too far away. Generally, that means they were sighted in Travis County somewhere. When I first started logging them, it was after the flooding disaster in Kerr County, so there are probably some non-local helicopters that came for some activity relating to that. I didn't capture tracks around that time, so those aircraft will likely not include a track image unless they come back at some point.
All helicopters only recent tracks will show.
Images in color are of the actual aircraft. Images in black and white are of the type but most likely a different aircraft.

This helicopter was hovering in place for hours. I did some investigation trying to find out why. Apparently, it was some sort of traffic study. So they dispatched a helicopter to hover in the same place basically all day to get an idea of what the traffic flow was like.
