Site 24859 re-set up prior to getting roof work done - uses flightaware antenna outside at about 30' (just above the peak of the roof). After the storm, this feeder was not functioning. After fiddling with it for a while, I got it working again by swapping the antenna and power source (swithing USB ports). That was on the evening of Wednesday May 28. Site 211280 Secondary feeder used mostly for local traffic inside using home-made antenna. The gaps close to the right side of the graphs are because of power going out from the storm. That's the easiest way to tell when the storm occurred.

Yesterday (Friday) I noticed that the feeder on the left seemed to be less sensitive than on Thursday. Thinking perhaps the antenna connection needed attention, I disconnected it and reconnected it at the RPi. That didn't seem to make a difference. Now I'm wondering whether the receiver was damaged from the storm. I climb up to the roof to check the antenna connection at the top of the mast, but I can't imagine how that would have changed so suddenly between Thursday and Friday. I also checked gain settings. It was at 48. I changed it to -10 which set the gain to 58 according to the listing.

In this case, it's helpful to compare the two feeders to see that the dropoff is specific to the one feeder and not because of fewer aircraft.
