Swipe to the North
The platform with tiles orthogonal to it is pointing north, so north is
up, here. So a swipe up (North) results in the movement
indicated. Actually, the app works by moving backward 73 days, not 73
moves (unless you count the troll turning around and then sleeping as a
move). You will notice that the same towers are displayed, just in
different places. Each tower appears again two
towers clockwise and one tower inward. If this 73 day period
includes a leap day, the configuration will appear to be off one move.
In that case, an additional swipe eastward realigns the configuration
as shown.
